Role Description

Werelooking for aSeniorThymeleaf+ Spring Boot Developer to join our core engineering team and lead the design and development of scalable, secure backend and web application systems.Youllplay a critical role in architectural decisions, performance optimization, and security standards while mentoring developers and collaborating closely with Product, DevOps, and Security teams.

This role offers high ownership, strong technical influence, and the opportunity to shape a fintech platform from the ground up.

WhatYoullDo

• Design, develop, andmaintainenterprise-grade applications usingJava, Spring Boot, andThymeleaf
• Build scalable, high-performance backend systems with strong emphasis onsecurity, reliability, and maintainability
• ArchitectMVC and layered application structures aligned with best practices
• Develop reusable UI components and layouts usingThymeleaf
• Implement secure templating practices, includingXSS prevention and data sanitization
• Design andmaintainREST APIs following versioning and industry standards
• Optimizedatabases, write complex queries, and ensure transaction integrity and data consistency
• Collaborate with DevOps onCI/CD pipelines, Docker-based deployments, logging, and monitoring
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to long-term platform architecture
• Support audits, security reviews, and compliance requirements

WhatWereLooking For (Expert-Level Skills)

• 5+ years of experience in Java-based application development
• StrongexpertiseinSpring Boot at scale (performance tuning, architecture, optimization)
• Deep experience withThymeleafUI architecture , reusable components, and layouts
• Solid understanding ofsecure templating, XSS prevention, and application security best practices
• Experience withSpring Security (JWT, OAuth2 integration level)
• Advanced knowledge ofdatabase optimization , transaction management, and data consistency
• Hands-on experience withREST API standards and versioning
• ProficiencywithGit and modern development workflows

Architecture & Governance Exposure

• MVC and layered architecture design
• Microservices awareness and system decomposition
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Docker (basic to intermediate)
• Logging, monitoring, and observability tools
• Compliance exposure (e.g.,ISO 27001, CERT-In )

Leadership Responsibilities

• Leadtechnical design and architectural decision-making
• Define and enforcecoding standards and engineering best practices
• Coordinate closely withDevOps, Security, and Product
• Mentor developers and raise overall engineering quality
