Senior Front-End Developer, SFCC (DCF Level 30)

Work Experience: 6-8 years.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and strong hands-on experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-performance, scalable, and visually engaging eCommerce experiences. You will be responsible for integrating user interface designs with business logic, optimizing front-end performance, and ensuring accessibility and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

SFRA-Based Front-End Development

  • Build and integrate modular, reusable front-end components leveraging the SFRA framework.
  • Customize and extend SFCC templates using ISML, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS, Page Designer and other front-end assets to meet complex business requirements.
  • Ensure seamless and scalable integration of UI components from established design systems.
  • Maintain visual consistency and reusability across all user-facing pages, Using Bootstrap framework for Mobile first experience for Accurately translating UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive, and visually exact web interfaces.
  • Maintain cross-browser compatibility and adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA).

Collaboration, Standards, and Quality Control

  • Work closely with UX/UI, back-end, and QA teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality eCommerce solutions.
  • Support code reviews and mentor junior developers on SFRA best practices.

Technical Responsibilities

  • 4–8 years of front-end development experience, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on work in SFCC using Storefront Reference Architecture.
  • Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+), with a focus on modular, component-based development. Knowledge of JS frameworks such as React.
  • Proficient in ISML templates, SFRA architecture, Page Designer, and JavaScript controllers.
  • Experienced in building responsive, mobile-first web interfaces with attention to cross-browser compatibility using Bootstrap.
  • Well-versed in front-end performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and critical CSS management.
  • Proficient in Git for version control and facilitating collaborative software development.
  • Experienced with Webpack, NPM, and various third-party integration tools to streamline development workflows.

  • Familiarity with Headless Commerce architectures or Progressive Web App (PWA) frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • BE/BTECH/MCA
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues related to Salesforce configuration, customizations, and integrations.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
