Job Description
I. Introduction
Associate/ Senior Associate shall serve as Business Analyst for Inversion Group and its affiliates.
II. Responsibilities
1.Pre Engagement
a.Evaluation of proposals for inclusion in company's portfolio.
b.This will include :
i.A summary of the business
ii.Industry position
iii.Current Operations
iv.Current Ownership Structure
v.Analysis of the company's recent financial performance and position
vi. SWOT Analysis
vii.Regulatory Environment
viii.Analysis of any other parameter(s) that may be determined necessary for the purposes of evaluating the particular prospect
c.On the basis of the above, assist in determining KPIs and milestones, and consequently appropriate compensation structures for the same.
d.Supporting in the due diligence that may be necessary, even where the task has primarily been outsourced.
e.Preparation of pitches and proposals that Inversion may be required to make to companies as part of its business development initiatives.
2.Ongoing Responsibilities Post Engagement
a.Assisting in preparation and evaluation of the company's Annual Operating Plan as well as any other strategic & long term business plans on an ongoing basis in relation to (but not limited to):
i.Capital Expenditure
ii.Existing & prospective Contracts vis-a-vis both internal and external stakeholders
iii.Determining the nature, format and frequency of MIS required from the company
iv.Regular analysis of the MIS generated by the company
v.Assist in fulfilling any due diligence related requirements vis-a-vis long term & short term financing / refinancing, including but not limited to review of the terms of financing, offer documents, covenants etc.
vi.Liaise with the appropriate internal & external stakeholders in ensuring fulfillment of the above.
II. Profile Requisites
- MBA in Finance from a recognized business school/ Chartered Accountant/ CFA (minimum Level II cleared)/Masters in Economics with atleast 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Must be self-driven, proactive and with strong ethics. Must have keen sense of responsibility and commitment to quality.
- Must have good problem-solving capabilities with strong planning and organizing skills.
- Keen to work in a Family Office as part of a small team
