Senior Financial Analyst, GBP Reconciliations and Controls, GBP Controllership

What You’ll do 

• General control and accounting for market transactions
• Assist with audits during year end and statutory audits for individual country statutory audits.
• Perform detailed reviews of the accounting treatment of various transaction types.
• Ensure compliance with management policies.
•  Liaising and working with internal SOX control team.
•  Build and maintain positive relationships with key Business and Finance partners.
•  Preparation of quarterly balance sheet review packs and subsequent review with Director
• Ability to interpret complex contractual terms to excel modeling to validate supplier payment analysis.
• The ability to take charge of challenges and solve problems independently. Creatively search out internal GBT contacts for training and advice to learn processes and solve issues.

What We're looking for 

• Graduate with 6 years of experience and a thorough and detailed understanding of B/S account reconciliation compilation, research, review, and analysis. Understanding the components and dissolution of account balances. Ensuring financials are following local and US GAAP requirements General control and accounting oversight for market transactions.
• Assist with the audits during year end and statutory audits for individual country statutory audits.
• Evaluate the accounting treatment of various transaction types. Prior experience in AR would be valuable.
• Ensure compliance with management policies.
•  Liaising and working with internal SOX control team.
• Ability to review peer level colleague reporting and provide timely and accurate feedback while maintaining a cohesive and collaborative environment.
• Team and client advocate who seeks win/win solutions
•  Exceptional expertise in Balance Sheet (B/S) Account Reconciliation
•  Demonstrated mastery in comprehensive account reconciliation compilation.  Advanced skills in forensic financial research and in-depth account balance analysis
•  Proven ability to deconstruct and understand complex account balance components.
• Expert-level proficiency in tracing, verifying, and resolving intricate financial discrepancies.
