Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who is very strong in numbers and comfortable working directly with founders, product and technology teams. You will own core financial models, help evaluate business opportunities, and translate financial insights into clear requirements and flows for our software products and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with founders to understand business goals and convert them into financial plans and measurable targets
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for products, projects and business units, including revenue, cost, margin and cash flow
• Prepare key financial dashboards, reports and summary views for management decision making
• Analyse new business opportunities, partnerships and channels and present clear financial impact, scenarios and risks
• Translate financial and business needs into structured requirements and process flows that the tech team can implement
• Map end to end business processes for billing, revenue, costs and reporting, and identify improvement opportunities
• Validate whether delivered features and projects are meeting financial expectations and recommend course corrections
• Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning with data driven inputs
• Work with stakeholders across product, tech, operations and marketing to align financial assumptions and track actuals

Required Skills and Experience

• 10 or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in technology, services or SaaS
• Very strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including building multi sheet models, scenarios and sensitivity analysis
• Deep understanding of financial concepts such as unit economics, revenue recognition, gross margin, cost allocation and profitability analysis
• Proven experience owning financial models that are actually used for monthly or quarterly decision making
• Comfort working with data from multiple systems and doing practical analysis using spreadsheets, SQL or basic scripts
• Experience working closely with product or technology teams and understanding how financials connect to features and roadmaps
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain numbers and trade offs clearly to both financial and non financial audiences
• High level of ownership, confidentiality and comfort working on strategic and sensitive topics with leadership

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, AI or platform based business models
• Experience creating or working with BI dashboards and reporting tools
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and collaboration platforms
• Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting or board level presentations

Shift timing: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
