Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and intellectually curious professional to work closely with the Group CFO on financial analysis, strategic insights, and investor intelligence. This role will focus on understanding business performance, analysing market and peer dynamics, and translating financial data into clear insights and presentations for leadership and investors.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building financial models, studying companies and industries, and communicating insights through clear presentations.

Prior experience in investor relations is not mandatory.Strong analytical thinking and communication skills are far more important.

Who we are looking for :

• 47 years of experience in equity research, consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategy roles

• Strong preference for CAs OR MBA from reputed B school

Skills

• Strong analytical ability and financial modelling skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with large datasets and convert them into insights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Curiosity about markets, companies, and business strategy

What You'll be doing :

Financial Analysis & Modelling

• Analyse financial and operating performance across CarTrade Techs businesses
• Build and maintain financial models and performance trackers

Market & Peer Intelligence

• Track performance of listed peers in India and globally across digital marketplaces, auto platforms, and internet companies
• Analyse industry trends, stock performance, valuations, and key metrics
• Prepare regular insights on market developments and investor sentiment

Analyst & Investor Insights

• Review and summarise analyst reports covering the company and industry
• Track consensus estimates and key investor questions or themes
• Prepare briefing notes and insight packs
• Prepare presentations, financial summaries, and data-backed insights for internal discussions and investor interactions
