Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be key member supporting India Sales Finance.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon and to help build the foundation for a rapidly growing organization.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Produce month end commentary and analysis on key drivers for topline and bottom line performance, risk and opportunities, and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop & maintain effective business partnership through short
- and long
- term financial planning cycles.
- Partner with services finance and sales leadership to build a bottoms up operating plan and establish key initiatives to achieve topline and bottom line targets.
- Deliver analysis and recommendations to accelerate growth, improve processes, identify new key metrics, and communicate best practices.
- Build models to measure the impact of past initiatives, assess the feasibility of new ideas, and support deal
- level decision making
- Tighten internal controls for T&E spending and other program spending
- Manage cash flow for the business by working closely with FinOps
The successful candidate will have shown experiences in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision
- making in rapidly evolving environments.
This role requires a self
- starter with strong modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re
- engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large
- scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
