Job Description

Talasha has been mandated to hire a Senior Finance Manager_Plant Finance for India's leading tissue & hygiene products brand. The 25 years old organisation is a major Indian manufacturer, operating a network of 14+ manufacturing and conversion facilities across India to maintain a nationwide supply network for their tissue products.


Responsibilities -

#Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Prepare organisation level Annual Operating Plan (OP), Quarterly Operating Review(QOR), and Monthly Rolling Estimates (MRE) for Revenue, COGS, Conversion cost, Operating Expenses, and Inventory.
  • Oversee COGS and Inventory Financial Planning, Analysis, and Management Reporting.
  • Prepare and present management reports and analysis to compare revenue, cogs, conversion costs with previous periods on a monthly basis.

#Plant Costing & Finance:

  • Simplify, standardize, and automate reporting and analysis for COGS, Mix, Purchase Prices, Transfer Costs, RM Yields, and LSS savings.
  • Improve accuracy in inventory valuation and reconciliations
  • Undertake cost centre analysis, budgeting, monitoring of costs and cost comparison reports.
  • Calculate & update planned rates and actual rates for monthly manufacturing activities, as part of result analysis.
  • Prepare & analyse plant performance reports (ex. Efficiency report) for the multiple manufacturing units & factories owned by the business.

#Budgeting & Forecasting :

  • Assist in annual budgeting and long-range planning processes in coordination with department heads.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and business cases.
  • Monitor adherence to budget and report variances with actionable insights.
  • Responsible for COGS and OPEX Budgeting and estimating during annual, quarterly, and monthly cycles.

#Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a Business Finance partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
  • Provide financial analysis and counsel on projects related to COGS improvement and business growth.
  • Support stakeholders in Business Execution Plan reviews, asset utilization, unit cost reviews, and finance training for non-finance personnel.


Good To Have -

  • 5-10 years experience in leading FP&A, Costing & budgeting for a manufacturing company
  • CA or CMA preferred


CTC - Upto Rs.30LPA (Basis last drawn)
