Job Description

Designation : Senior Finance Manager


Location : Require for Bhiwandi and Ghatkopar location. Travelling would be in both locations.


Working days and time: Monday to Saturday; 10am to 7pm.


Industry : Manufacturing


Salary range upto 8lpa


Key Responsibilities (Scope of Work)


Financial Accounting & Reporting : Daily Financial Schedule


Prepare and finalize accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, Consolidated Financial Statement, and Income Statement.


Get accounts audited from Statutory Auditors and prepare other reports/certificates as required.


Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.


Scrutinize ledgers, reconcile accounts, and oversee all accounting functions.


GST Specialization


Manage and review GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance activities.


Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental queries.


Advise on GST implications, structuring, and planning.


Stay updated on GST laws, amendments, and regulatory changes.


Audit & Income Tax Specialization


Plan, execute, and review statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.


Ensure compliance with Income Tax laws, filings, and assessments.


Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.


Handle Income Tax notices, assessments, and correspondence for all group companies and directors personal tax matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.


Taxation & Compliance


Ensure compliance with statutory obligations: Income Tax, TDS, Professional Tax, Provident Fund, GST, Advance Tax (monthly, quarterly, annually).


Liaise with consultants and authorities in case of disputes or complexities.


Regulatory & Business Support


Provide details and data for SEBI inspections of BSE, NSE, MCX, or other exchanges/authorities as required.


Prepare budgeted income and expenditure accounts and support financial planning/forecasting.


Provide strategic financial advice to the Chairman on tax, treasury, and financial planning matters.


Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.


Risk Management & Audit


Review company systems, identify gaps, and analyse financial risks.


Perform internal checks to detect/prevent fraud and financial irregularities.


Team Management


Manage subordinate staff, ensuring professionalism, respect, and compliance with company policies.


Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.


Other Duties


Carry out any other duties, functions, or reporting as assigned by the Chairman
