Position: Senior Finance Manager

Location: Vinayaka tower, 1st Cross Rd, Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560009

Reports To: Finance Controller / CFO

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Experience: 812 Years Post Qualification

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join as Senior Finance Manager, responsible for managing core finance operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting across group entities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Closure

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure
• Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliations, provisions, and accruals
• Prepare financial statements and schedules
• Support group consolidation and management reporting
• Conduct variance analysis and financial performance review

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Handle end-to-end GST compliance including filings and reconciliations
• Ensure proper Input Tax Credit tracking and reconciliation (2A/2B vs books)
• Manage TDS compliance and statutory filings
• Support corporate tax computations and advance tax workings
• Maintain compliance calendar and statutory documentation

3. Audit Management

• Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Address audit observations and ensure timely closure
• Liaise with external auditors and consultants

4. Internal Controls & Process Strengthening

• Implement and monitor financial controls and SOPs
• Strengthen maker-checker frameworks
• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements
• Support automation and system enhancements

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)
• 812 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Strong technical knowledge of GST, direct tax, and statutory compliance
• Experience in handling audits and financial reporting independently
• Experience in a trading setup (offline trading / distribution / e-commerce) is mandatory
• Work experience in promoter-led organizations will be preferred
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting preferred
• ERP proficiency (Tally / SAP / similar systems)
• High ownership and execution-oriented approach
