Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IFRS 17 reporting and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
- Manage annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes
- Oversee solvency modelling and preparation of regulatory returns
- Handle corporate taxation matters and ensure regulatory compliance
- Supervise monthly financial closing activities and reporting timelines
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
- Lead and mentor finance team members, ensuring operational efficiency
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 15+ years of overall finance experience
- At least 5+ years of experience within the insurance industry
- Minimum 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Hands-on experience in IFRS 17 reporting is mandatory
- Prior experience working with a Big 4 consulting firm is required
- Experience in a listed company environment is essential
- Exposure to Takaful operations will be an added advantage
- Experience within a Life Insurance company will be preferred
- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
