Role Description

Join Our Finance Team at Monk-E! You will get the opportunity to grow and oversee all the aspects of Finance vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and approvals.
• Manage vendor payments via cash, cheque, bank transfer, and credit cards.
• Maintain vendor ledgers and resolve payment-related queries and discrepancies.
• Ensure timely payment of vendors while adhering to company cash-flow policies.
• Post accounts receivable payments received through cash, cheque, and credit cards.
• Maintain daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and disbursements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and closing entries.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports detailing revenues and expenses.
• Produce invoices, financial statements, and supporting documents for month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking for projects and productions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and turnaround time.
• Maintain proper documentation and records in line with audit and compliance requirements.
• Support internal and statutory audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.

Qualification required for this role:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and general accounting .
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in media/entertainment or project-based accounting is a plus.

Requirements:-

o Proven track record in outreach campaign strategies

o Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

o Well organized with excellent time management skills

o Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

o Proficiency in email communication, Excel, PPT

o A ton of patience and empathy (dealing with creators will need this)

Experience - Min 5 Years of experience in Accounts and Finance

Maximum Budget: 5 LPA

Qualification - Graduate
