Note: Candidates must have strong, proven experience in Indo-ethnic, ethnic and fusion wear to be considered for this role.


We are looking for a Senior Fashion Designer for Pink Fort. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing for the modern Indian woman, with a deep understanding of ethnic silhouettes, textiles, and trends.


About the Role:

As a Senior Fashion Designer, you will lead the end-to-end design processfrom concept development to final product. You will drive creative direction, manage junior designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure each collection reflects Pink Forts design aesthetic and market needs.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Create monthly Indo-Western collections by conceptualizing innovative ideas aligned with Pink Forts brand vision.
  • Creative Development: Build Mood Boards, Color Boards, Storyboards, and Illustrations to present design concepts.
  • Product Execution: Oversee technical packs, print development, and sampling to ensure high-quality output.
  • Trend Forecasting: Continuously research global and Indian fashion trends to anticipate and adapt to market needs.
  • Business Impact: Identify key profit-driving styles and design strategies at the start of each season.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and manage vendor relationships for smooth execution.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor junior designers, ensuring timely delivery and design excellence.
  • Product Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of product development, fittings, silhouettes, pattern making, and garment construction.
  • Aesthetic Vision: Demonstrate exceptional design sensibility tailored to the modern Indian woman.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree/diploma in Fashion Design (NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent preferred).
  • 57 years of experience in Indo-ethnic apparel design.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of Indian textiles, silhouettes, and market trends.
  • Experience working with e-commerce brands or leading Indian fashion labels is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Highly creative with strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
