Role Summary

The Senior Specialist Transaction Monitoring role is responsible for managing fraud risk across both Online and Offline transaction monitoring channels. The role focuses on strengthening monitoring controls, driving operational improvements, coordinating with banks and third parties, preparing management reports, and leading teams to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review online and offline transactions to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity.
• Detect emerging fraud patterns and recommend preventive controls.
• Ensure timely action on alerts, holds, reversals, and escalations.
• Drive process optimization and control enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with peer banks, card networks, and third-party partners for fund holds, reversals, and issue resolution.
• Prepare dashboards, MIS, and analytical reports for senior management.
• Provide insights to support risk evaluation and decision-making.
• Guide and support team members to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Proactively resolve operational challenges and team-level conflicts.

Experience and Qualifications

1. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Risk Management, or a related role.
2. Bachelors degree is mandatory; additional certifications are an advantage.
3. Strong experience within the banking or financial services domain.
4. Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Model

Location - Mumbai
