About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable
Sr. Executive - Payroll to join our HR team. In this role, you will assist in managing end-to-end payroll processing and administration, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll execution. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth payroll operations, handle employee queries, and contribute to payroll process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with end-to-end payroll processing and administration.

Calculate and verify employee salaries, benefits, and deductions in line with company policies, contracts, and legal requirements.

Ensure timely and accurate entry of payroll data, including employee details, attendance, and timesheets.

Respond promptly to employee payroll-related queries and concerns.

Generate various payroll reports such as payroll summaries, tax reports, and labor cost analyses.

Support payroll tax calculations, deductions, and ensure timely submissions in compliance with regulations.

Conduct audits and verifications of payroll data to identify and correct discrepancies.

Support implementation and integration of new payroll systems or upgrades.

Participate in initiatives aimed at improving payroll processes and efficiency.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with payroll service providers and vendors.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and seamless payroll processing.

Stay current with changes in payroll laws, tax codes, and labor regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field

Experience :

Practical experience in payroll processing and administration

Familiarity with payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards

Experience in using payroll software and tools for processing, reporting, and record-keeping

Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive payroll data with integrity

Soft Skills :

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Effective communication skills - both written and verbal

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
