Senior Executive - Packaging Development

Job Description

• Propose suitable packaging material for the new product based on product characteristics to ensure stability during transportation and storage.
• Coordinate artwork development and obtain FCP (Final Consumer Packaging) approval in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) for the development of new products or improvements to existing products, ensuring packaging requirements are met.
• Prepare specifications for packing materials and Bills of Materials (BOM) and conduct testing to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate factory trials and container loadability trials to ensure packaging meets performance expectations and logistical requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with packaging material vendors, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in packaging technology and materials.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in packaging development within the consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, including their properties and suitability for different products.
• Experience in coordinating artwork development and obtaining regulatory approvals for packaging.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with packaging testing methods and standards.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
