Senior Executive– Instrumentation

We are seeking a Senior Executive Instrumentation to ensure plant equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance. The role focuses on predictive and preventive maintenance, statutory compliance, troubleshooting, project execution, and continuous improvement to support uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure 100% compliance with safety, health, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Drive zero-incident culture across the assigned plant area, including contractor safety.
• Execute maintenance activities in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Plant Reliability & Performance

• Achieve zero breakdowns through effective preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
• Reduce MTTR and improve MTBF through systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Eliminate repeat failures and implement Right First Time (RFT) practices.
• Identify abnormalities and report/escalate promptly.
• Execute shift activities effectively and maintain proper reporting to seniors.

Quality & Systems Compliance

• Maintain documentation as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, factory hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Create, generate, and close maintenance/service orders in SAP.
• Raise purchase requisitions and maintain accurate system records.

Technical Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and calibration of:
• Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow, pH, and Weighing systems
• Control valves, on/off valves, safety valves, rupture disks
• Bagging systems, Fire & Gas systems
• Troubleshoot field instruments and process control systems.
• Edit and modify DCS (Emerson) / PLC (Rockwell) programs as per approved requirements.
• Support ESD & BPCS control systems.
• Prepare project cost estimations and basic design documents:
• IO Lists, Instrument Index, Specification Sheets
• Cause & Effect Diagrams
• Loop Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, JB Schedules
• Review vendor drawings, GA drawings, quality certificates, and calculations.
• Provide procurement, erection, and commissioning support for instrumentation projects.

Team & Collaboration

• Train and guide technicians in safe operating procedures.
• Deliver maintenance performance aligned with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Maintain strong coordination with internal stakeholders such as Production, QA, and Maintenance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors/Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of DCS & PLC systems (Emerson, Rockwell preferred)
• Hands-on experience in process instrumentation maintenance
• Familiarity with SAP (PM Module preferred)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
