Senior Executive - BASHM

The purpose of the Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard management division under Group Safety division is to provide high quality operations environment for the smooth flying operation free from bird/wildlife hazard over the airside of the Bangalore International airport Limited complying with standards stipulated in International Civil Aviation Organization ASM Doc 9137 & 9978 & DGCA CAR CIVIL AVIATION REQUIREMENTS SECTION-4, AERODROME STANDARDS & LICENSING SERIES 'B', PART I, ISSUE II.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Wildlife Hazard Management Program (WHMP) as per ICAO/DGCA norms.
• Ensure 247 bird hazard control through effective manpower and equipment deployment.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and habitat management to minimize wildlife threats.
• Monitor, analyze, and report bird movement and consumption data.
• Manage training, audits, CAPEX/OPEX, procurement, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, labor, and contract compliance across airside operations.
