About the Function:
The Hotels Revenue team drives supply-side growth for the Independent Hotels segment, managing both the AdTech business and post-sales operations. With a focus on execution, innovation and performance, the team delivers scalable solutions and improves partner outcomes, while staying anchored to core values of customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About the Role:
The incumbent will be part of the online revenue team for the Domestic Hotels business. As an Analyst, they will be responsible for maintaining structured and trackable data, conducting data analysis, supporting strategic projections, and deriving meaningful insights to drive business outcomes.
What will you be doing:
Tracking key business metrics on a daily basis and enabling the team to do the same by creating automated reports and dashboards.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders for gathering requirements and prioritizing business and information needs.
Creating interactive data visualizations by interpreting trends and integrating data from multiple sources.
Analyzing data using statistical techniques to identify emerging customer or business patterns and highlighting areas for improving efficiency and productivity.
Ensuring accuracy and integrity of operational reports; addressing and resolving any issues related to data representation or quality.
Translating insights into actions by designing and implementing business experiments, tweaking operational levers, and tracking impact.
Driving strategic, high-impact projects aligned with business objectives.
Collaborating with management to refine and prioritize business needs based on evolving data insights.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics from a reputed institute, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Key Sucess Factors for the Role:
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL queries and Excel is a must.
- Exposure to web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Omniture.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in writing complex queries, generating reports, and presenting data-driven insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate on complex projects within the team and across functions.
- A solid understanding of statistics, with prior experience in statistical tools or programming languages such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python, is preferred.
