Role Title: Senior Executive Design Womens Western Wear

Role Summary

To support the design and development of the Womens Western Wear range by interpreting fashion trends, consumer preferences, and Easybuys brand vision into commercially relevant and trend-forward collections. The role is responsible for creating strong seasonal assortments, ensuring timely design delivery, and maintaining brand consistency across all product categories within Womens Western Wear.

Key Responsibilities

Range Creation & Development

• Create seasonal design ranges as per the buying calendar.
• Develop trend-right, value-driven collections aligned with Easybuys brand positioning.
• Prepare and present range concepts showcasing seasonal themes, stories, and direction.
• Apply Easybuy color palettes to ensure consistency and brand coherence.
• Ensure seamless transition between seasons by balancing core products with newness.
• Execute and review pre-production sample translations including lab dips, color cuttings, print strike-offs, styling, fits, trims, and embellishments in partnership with Buying & Sourcing teams.
• Prepare accurate tech packs, ensuring clarity and design integrity through the production process.

Trend Research & Forecasting

• Conduct ongoing trend research across domestic/international markets and online platforms.
• Translate insights into seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and silhouette directions.
• Benchmark competition and conduct retail analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Leverage bestseller analysis and retail insights to influence range direction.
• Deliver seasonal trend presentations as per the design calendar.

Analysis & Innovation

• Evaluate trends in fabrics, colors, prints, and silhouettes to guide range creation.
• Assess commercial viability of ideas considering costing, functionality, and market demand.
• Adapt global and national fashion trends to suit Easybuys Womens Western Wear consumer profile.
• Bring innovation into the design process to enhance product freshness and efficiency.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with Buying, Planning, and Sourcing teams to ensure timely range handover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth development-to-production workflow.
• Maintain strong communication to ensure alignment with business objectives, value positioning, and brand DNA.
