About Position
This role involves leading multiple engineering teams and managers to build highquality enterprise software products, primarily in the database performance and observability domain. The position requires a seasoned engineering leader with deep technical expertise, strong people leadership, and the ability to collaborate across global functions.

What You'll Do:
- Lead engineering teams to deliver enterprisegrade software products focused on database and performance monitoring, while driving team excellence, product quality, and crossfunctional alignment.
- Lead and manage engineering managers and multiple development teams.
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of commercial software products in an enterprise environment.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to define roadmaps, priorities, and trade-offs.
- Ensure strong engineering practices including CI/CD, automation, code review, and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership with hands-on expertise in .NET and SQL performance.
- Represent engineering in customer discussions, field engagements, and executive reviews.
- Promote agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and ensure successful execution throughout the SDLC.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across geographies and time zones with influence-based leadership.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- The ideal candidate brings a blend of deep technical expertise, proven leadership in enterprise product development, and the ability to manage complex engineering environments.
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in people management.
- Experience leading managers and/or multiple engineering teams.
- Successful track record of building and shipping enterprisegrade software (onprem or hybrid).
- Strong background in C#/.NET and modern engineering practices.
- Deep expertise in relational databases, SQL tuning, indexing, blocking/deadlocks, and performance optimization.
- Experience working closely with Product Management to drive roadmaps and delivery outcomes.
- Ability to lead through influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and customers.
- Solid understanding of agile development and the endtoend enterprise SDLC.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with database performance tools, APM, or observability platforms.
- Exposure to Azure/AWS and hybrid onprem + cloud environments.
- Experience driving large-scale modernization or refactoring initiatives.
- Contributions to technical communities (blogs, OSS, talks) in .NET, databases, or performance engineering.
