Developer / Automation Engineer Enterprise Voice (Role A & B)
Role Summary:
The Developer / Automation Engineer designs, builds, and maintains custom solutions and automation that extend and optimize enterprise voice platforms. This role is deeply technical, with a focus on Genesys Cloud CX, supporting systems, and creative problem solving beyond standard vendor capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation and custom solutions supporting enterprise voice platforms.
- Build and maintain integrations leveraging Genesys Cloud APIs and related services.
- Develop solutions using SQL, PowerShell, and C# as appropriate.
- Build and leverage existing infrastructure in Microsoft Azure to include function apps.
- Automate operational tasks, reporting pipelines, configuration validation, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with data, QA, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end voice solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex, cross system issues involving routing, data, and integrations.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and supportable code.
- Evaluate and prototype nonstandard or innovative approaches where traditional solutions fall short.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong development experience with SQL, PowerShell, and C#.
- Some experience developing in JavaScript and HTML.
- Hands on experience with Genesys Cloud CX or similar voice platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, automation frameworks, and system integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building custom tooling for voice or contact center environments.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge default design patterns.
