Responsibilities

Lead track engineering projects from conception to completion.
Provide technical expertise in track design, maintenance, and construction.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop track-related plans and designs.
Conduct site inspections and evaluations to assess track conditions and identify improvement opportunities.
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards in all track-related activities.
Manage project budgets and timelines to meet project goals and objectives.
Support the development and implementation of track maintenance programs.
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in track engineering and design.
Thorough understanding of track maintenance practices and regulations.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as Bentley Power Rail Track, Open rail Designer, ClearRoute 2, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
