Job Description:

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs using FastAPI, Python, and ASGI application servers (e.g., Uvicorn, Gunicorn, Hypercorn).

• Design and implement backend architectures that support AI-driven platforms, scalable microservices, and event-driven systems.

• Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EC2, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, SNS/SQS).

• Build and optimize containerized applications using

• Docker and managed container services (ECS, EKS a plus).

• Design, implement, and optimize SQL and NoSQL data storage systems including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.

• Work closely with AI/ML engineers to integrate ML models and data pipelines into production-ready services.

• Develop reusable libraries, internal APIs, and modular service components to accelerate platform development.

• Establish and enforce best practices in API performance, cloud infrastructure, observability, and code quality.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps workflows.

• Participate in peer reviews, technical design decisions, and provide mentorship to junior developers.

You are a successful candidate if you have

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience, ideally with Python-based services.

• Proven experience in software and systems architecture

• Strong expertise in FastAPI, ASGI patterns, Python backend development, and modern REST/async API design.

• Understanding of ASGI app servers (Uvicorn, Gunicorn, Hypercorn) and asynchronous programming.

• Deep understanding of Docker, containerization workflows, and container orchestration or managed container services.

• Strong experience with AWS cloud architecture

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, DynamoDB).

• Experience in Terraform or other IaC tools is a plus.

• Experience in vector databases or RAG-based systems is a plus.

• Experience working with frontend stacks like React, Vue, or Tailwind is a plus.

• Familiarity with DevOps culture, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security practices.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
