Role: Senior Engineer Power System Studies

Job Summary:

The Senior Engineer will lead and deliver power system studies across HV/MV/LV networks, coordinating with design teams, clients, and global stakeholders. The role involves technical leadership, study execution using ETAP, quality assurance, budget control, and on-time project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 712 years of experience in T&D and Power system studies
• Strong expertise in ETAP (mandatory)
• Experience with HV/MV/LV steady-state and dynamic studies
• Familiarity with Middle East projects (preferred)
• Knowledge of protection systems and coordination
• Exposure to DIgSILENT, PSCAD, PSSE, CYMGRD, CYMCAP, Dialux is an advantage
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and review power system studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, Harmonics, Motor Starting, Protection Coordination and setting calculations, insulation coordination, Grounding, Cable Sizing, Grid Integration, and Transient Stability using ETAP
• Prepare study reports, input data requests, and technical documentation
• Understanding to conduct grounding grid design, Transient Stability.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, Saudi Aramco, IEC, IEEE/ANSI, NEC, and NFPA standards
• Lead technical coordination with clients, internal teams, and global counterparts
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality deliverables
• Support proposal preparation, man-hour estimation, and resource planning
• Mentor and provide technical training to junior engineers
• Strong individual contributor with a team-oriented mindset
