Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
a) To achieve world class Quality of Design in parts/ vehicle assemblies being assessed/ approved by Design studio
b) Set guidelines for Design Appearance Quality (DAQ)
c) Review clay models, CAS/ CAD data, tools, parts, vehicle assemblies to maintain DAQ by giving relevant and timely input
d) Deliver DAQ Reports with clear acceptance/ rejection criteria
e) Interface with Design/ Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Supplier/ Tooling departments to maintain quality standard and deliver good craftsmanship
f) Build and maintain DAQ Standards by constantly upgrading our quality knowledge and training all relevant stakeholders
g) Planning, co-ordinating DAQ reviews; preparation of AAR (appearance approval reports)
