Senior Engineer

• The R&D Engineer's [Project engineer, R&D Designer, Visual Designer] creates and concretize ideas in R&D projects into finalised designs.
  The key responsibility is to create innovative and competitive solutions for new elevator/escalator products or components, in line with KONE Solution Creation Process and KONE Guidelines.
  
  PCM engineer executes problems solving actions to respond quickly to urgent PCM related problems in business units. He/she assists PCM Manager to analyse change requests and creates detailed proposals of changes in specific technology area such as component design, strength calculations, tool and systems, layout drawings system behaviour.
  
  Responsibility scope:
  R&D/PCM Engineer’s responsibilities typically cover the responsibility for single components. Responsibility scope may depend on the project, its size and complexity and relevant business process.
• Job Description
  • Part of Product Engineering team, For designing and developing MRL/MR Platform Solutions for Offering. Working on offering improvement contents within the existing Products and providing the release Deliverables.
    
    Main tasks:
    • Preparing System Level Calculations and  General Arrangement Drawings for Elevator
    • Preparing System level Configuration rules for the Platform Products in Vari Client and PDM
    • Collaborating with the cross funtional team for implementing platform solutions to Indian Market
    • Monitoring Platform products Quality and to perform further offering improvements through releases and CR Process.
  • Good Analyatical & Mechanical/Electrical Engineering concepts
  • Good Knowledge in AutoCAD/Autocad Electrical
    Good Knowledge in MS office 
  • Self-Driven, Self Motivated and Hard Working.
    Good team player.
    Attention to Procedure and Guidelines.
    Collaborating.
    Detail & Quality Focus.
    Good Oral and Written Communication Skills.
    Fluent in English (Oral & Written)

  3 to 5 years; Experience in elevator field will be added advantage;
  Experience in handling system level mechanical/electrical interface is also preferred;
