Senior Engineer (Firmware)

Job Description:

• Embedded system programming for ARM cortex (STM microcontrollers) and similar platforms as per industrial standards.
• API/HAL-based programming for embedded systems.
• LoRA, NBIoT, Gateway, GSM, I2C, SPI, UART interfacing using Embedded C programming.
• Deployment of ML models at edge devices.
• Programming as per MISRA C standards, working with LDRA tools for code analysis.
• Testing, troubleshooting, debugging embedded software system and components.
• Understanding Customer requirement/ project specifications.
• Writing technical documents and inspection reports, documentation related to firmware code.
• Assisting in other projects in the team, write project reports and manuscripts for publication.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics and telecommunication or any relevant engineering discipline with minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Embedded system design.

OR

• M.E./ M.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics and telecommunication or any relevant engineering discipline with minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Embedded system design.

Required Expertise:

• Prior experience in edge computing.
• Prior experience of working with STM controllers/SoC and various IDEs of STM controller.
• Knowledge of interfacing various peripherals with microcontroller/ microprocessor.
• Knowledge of programming various microcontrollers/ microprocessors and in-depth knowledge of various interface and networking protocols.
• Prior programming experience in at least two different microcontrollers followed by a system prototyping.
• Good to have prior knowledge of compliance certifications required for various regulatory approvals.
