Job Description :

End User Computing - VDI Operations

Required Skills:

 4+ years experience and strong skills in supporting Server / Application / Desktop Virtualization technologies (AWS Workspaces, Citrix, VMware, RemoteApp) and Large-Scale environments

Must have knowledge, experience supporting AWS Workspaces in a large scale environment (Enterprise) and familiarity with AWS Cloud computing terminologies

 Extensive experience and proven ability to support Microsoft Windows server environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policies,etc.)

 Thorough understanding of PowerShell, Python, VB Scripting with Infrastructure background along with Citrix XenDesktop 7x familiarity

Key Focus on migration of current Citrix infrastructure to AWS Workspaces/Appstream and decommissioning of Citrix 

 Basic understanding of SAN, Networking, Security, and Backup Technologies

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall direction, development, enhancement and maintenance of the enterprise VDI environment (AWS Workspaces/Appstream & Citrix XenDesktop). This

includes analysis, planning, development and implementation of new features and enhancements to provide required levels of service to the organization

 Managing day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for VDI infrastructure (AWS Workspaces & Citrix)

 Identify and work on areas of service improvement & standardizing process

 Accurately maintain all documentation related to configuration, processes, asset inventories, topologies, administration manuals, support contacts etc.

 Work with vendor to resolve complex issues in order to ensure a stable environment

 Automate routine and time consuming manual tasks wherever feasible

 Any other duties as assigned
