Analog Devices Inc. is seeking an intelligent and versatile product engineer to join our agile advanced data converters group. You will join a team of digital, analog and mixed signal CMOS designers, algorithm and software developers implementing state of the art RF and signal processing chips.  As a member of the focused team, you will be responsible for a specific product or group of products from product definition through production and release and may participate in the design, simulation, and verification of the product prior to tapeout.

Key responsibilities include:

►Interface as the central resource with design, test, application, software and marketing teams as the product(s) move from design to completion and distribution.

► Work with design, systems, software, and applications engineering to gather the data needed for hardware release and supporting datasheet.

► Develop verification and characterization test plans and develop the software required to automate the data collection process.

►Perform lab analysis and evaluation of new systems, working with a multi-functional team to identify, simulate, and correct functional and parametric problems.

► Characterization of pre-release silicon encompassing the total solution including analog, digital, and firmware algorithms.

►Verification & release of embedded software for products.

►Responsible for taking silicon and ARM software from early development stage to full production release.

►Responsible for developing and operating software verification test bench.

►Responsible for developing and operating RF-centric characterization bench

►Direct interaction with field sales/applications as well as customers to resolve product issues.

►May participate in customer visits

Requirements:

  • Minimum BE/B Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience working in wireless transceiver or telecommunications industry
  • Knowledgeable in RF measurements and signal processing 
  • Experience performing circuit evaluation and characterization using bench test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers.
  • Working experience with transceivers and different sub-blocks. (Plls, Mixers, LNAs, ADCs\DACs, JESD)
  • Knowledge of programming languages. (Labview, C#, python and Teststand are preferred)
  • Familiarity with embedded software and verification practices. 
  • Familiar with simulation tools such as ADS, Cadence
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Intelligence, enthusiasm, and a solid work ethic are extremely valuable for this position.
