What Youll Do

• Design, build, and optimize authentication and authorization systems using standards such as OAuth2.0, OIDC, SCIM, SAML, plus related technologies.
• Develop secure, resilient, large-scale identity platform components built for high availability and performance.
• Architect solutions around role engineering, session management, standardized AuthN/AuthZ frameworks for cross-platform use cases.
• Enable seamless enterprise onboarding through robust user, team, and access management integrations.
• Build high-performance APIs in close collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, QA, Security, and Platform teams.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and elevate engineering standards across the team.
• Contribute to architecture decisions influencing long-term platform scalability and reliability.
• Create internal tools that improve developer productivity, system maintainability, and operational efficiency.

What Youll Bring

• 8+ years of experience building complex, distributed software systems at scale.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and core web fundamentals.
• Deep database knowledge including schema design, indexing, caching strategies, and query optimization.
• Demonstrated experience building products or major platform components from scratch.
• Comfort collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and cross-functional leaders while constructively challenging ideas to drive better outcomes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with authentication and identity protocols such as OAuth, SAML, OIDC.
• Exposure to user management systems, role engineering, or access control models.
