We are looking for a seasoned Embedded Engineer to lead the development of our communication stacks and hardware-software integration.

The Role

As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the firmware architecture and protocol implementation of our smart energy products. You will bridge the gap between hardware and the cloud, ensuring our devices communicate reliably across diverse industrial and consumer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Firmware Development:Design, develop, and maintain robust firmware for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, etc.) using C/C++.
• Advanced Connectivity:Interface withcellular modules(4G/5G/NB-IoT) usingAT commandsfor reliable cloud telemetry.
• Network Topology:Implement and optimizeRF MeshandLoRaWAN technologies for wide-area energy monitoring.
• Protocol Integration:Architect and optimize communication stacks includingTCP/IP, Modbus (RTU/TCP), BACnet, andOCPP(for EV charging infrastructure).
• Wireless Integration:Develop and tuneBLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) profiles for device commissioning and local data exchange.
• Certification & Compliance:Lead the firmware support forglobal product certifications(CE, FCC, etc.), ensuring all communication protocols meet international export standards and interoperability requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Experience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Cellular & RF Expertise:Proven experience withCellular module interfacingand deep knowledge ofAT commands.
• Hands-on experience withLPWANandRF Meshnetworking.
• Protocol Expertise:Deep understanding of the OSI model and hands-on experience implementing:
• Modbus & BACnet:For building automation and industrial integration.
• OCPP (1.6/2.0.1):Specifically for Electric Vehicle charging station-to-backend communication.
• TCP/IP Stack:Socket programming and network security.
• Wireless:Proven track record with BLE/Bluetooth 5.x stacks.
• Tools:Proficiency with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr), Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines for firmware.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mobile App Development:Experience withFlutter, React Native, or Native (Swift/Kotlin) to build interface apps that communicate with embedded hardware via BLE or Wi-Fi.
• Cloud IoT:Experience with AWS IoT Core or Azure IoT Hub.
• Security:Knowledge of TLS/SSL implementation in resource-constrained environments.
