Job Description

The Senior E-commerce Specialist is responsible for overseeing performance across multiple online marketplaces, including eBay, Amazon, TikTok, Tesco, and other e-commerce platforms. This role focuses on advertising strategy, promotional planning & execution, competitor analysis, sales tracking, and ensuring marketplace compliance.


In addition to managing platform performance, the Senior E-commerce Specialist will oversee the operations of several e-commerce platforms and lead a team of 8-9 team members. This includes setting clear priorities, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring efficient execution across all channels.


The primary focus of this role is hands-on execution. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to implement data-driven growth strategies and ensure that multiple projects are delivered accurately and on time. Strong organizational skills, leadership capability, and the ability to manage simultaneous initiatives are essential to drive consistent marketplace growth and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketplace & Platform Oversight: Manage performance and daily operations across multiple marketplaces, ensuring compliance and sales growth.
  • Policy Compliance & Governance: Monitor platform policies and implement necessary updates across channels.
  • Competitor & Market Research: Analyze competitors, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Sales Performance & KPI Management: Track KPIs and deliver data-driven insights to improve profitability.
  • Advertising & Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Promotions & Growth Strategy: Drive promotional initiatives aligned with sales targets.
  • Product Launch Management: Oversee product listings and coordinate successful launches.
  • Marketplace Operations & Customer Experience: Support and oversee returns, claims, and fulfillment processes to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership, Training & Project Execution: Lead a team of 8-9 members, provide ongoing training to junior staff, and ensure timely delivery of multiple projects.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:2-4 years managing any seller central and seller hub, focusing on sales performance and advertising.
  • Technical Proficiency:Basic knowledge of PPC and other strategies with an understanding of marketplace analytics.
  • Analytical Expertise:Advanced skills in data analysis and sales tracking to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication:Strong problem-solving abilities and professional communication skills to address challenges effectively.
  • Leadership & Initiative:A proactive self-starter with the ability to lead projects and collaborate with internal teams.


Timings:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 12:30 to 9:30 PM (April-October)
  • 1:30 to 10:30 PM (November-March)
  • Saturday
  • 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (alternate off)
