McDonalds has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director, Global Process Owner (PTP). This role serves as the true owner of end-to-end process design, accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving global Procure-to-Pay processes. The Senior Director oversees teams responsible for driving vendor accountability and streamlining operations globally. This role is a key stakeholder in governance forums and acts as a strategic partner to Global Finance leaders. The position drives global standardization, compliance, and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and customer experience priorities.
The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owns end-to-end process strategy, design, and continuous improvement for assigned global finance processes (e.g., PTP).
- Drives global standardization, innovation, and best practices across all markets.
- Partners with senior stakeholders (Finance Experience, C-suite, market leaders) to align process strategy with enterprise objectives.
- Oversees global process operational teams, ensuring accountability for process outcomes and vendor performance.
- Champions process transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and data analytics.
- Sets and monitors global KPIs, ensuring compliance and risk management.
- Escalates and resolves complex, cross-market operational/process issues.
- Participates in cross-functional governance and prioritization for process enhancements.
- Develops talent pipeline and succession planning for process leadership.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, process management, or related functions.
- Overall experience of minimum 20 + years.
- English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4).
- Expertise in PTP processes and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in process management, optimization, and standardization across end-to-end finance processes.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills.
- Analytical problem solver with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in performance monitoring and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
