Senior Devops Engineer

DevOps & CI/CD Engineering

• Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and supporting DevOps tools.
• Interpret DevOps architecture and component designs and implement them according to specifications.
• Adapt and enhance existing DevOps solutions and design new solutions for evolving business needs.
• Develop, debug, test, document, and communicate DevOps development and support activities.
• Select appropriate technical approaches, including reuse, enhancement, or reconfiguration of existing components.
• Optimize DevOps tools and processes for efficiency, cost, scalability, and quality.
• Validate solutions with user representatives and support end-to-end integration and commissioning.

Cloud & Infrastructure Automation

• Automate infrastructure provisioning on cloud and on-premises environments under architectural guidance.
• Provision and configure AWS Dev and Prod environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Implement secure, scalable AWS infrastructure following best practices.
• Support containerized and microservices-based deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

API & Platform Enablement

• Support deployment of REST APIs using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and EKS.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with test automation and code quality tools.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and ing using CloudWatch or equivalent tools.
• Manage secrets, IAM roles, and environment configurations using AWS Secrets Manager.

Operational Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot novel and complex DevOps issues not covered by SOPs.
• Support onboarding of new application development and support teams.
• Ensure SLAs are met for user onboarding and ticket resolution.

Leadership, Mentoring & Agile Delivery

• Manage and guide at least one Agile team using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance to DevOps Engineers supporting existing components.
• Facilitate automation-led cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Prepare and share regular status updates with management and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, security, and operations.
• Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, and onboarding documentation.
