Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Lead with strong expertise in networking, systems architecture, and cloud infrastructure to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable environments for our Web3 products. This role will ensure high availability, robust security, and operational excellence across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Systems
• Architect and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure on GCP (primary), with exposure to AWS/Azure.
• Implement high-availability systems , disaster recovery plans, and performance optimization.
• Manage Linux-based systems , virtualization, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Networking
• Design and enforce network architecture , including VPCs, subnets, routing, and load balancing.
• Configure firewalls, WAFs, VPNs , and implement zero-trust security models .
• Optimize network performance for decentralized applications and blockchain nodes.
• DevOps & Automation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and configuration management tools.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog.
• Security & Compliance
• Enforce access control policies , secrets management, and encryption standards.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments , patching, and compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Collaborate with blockchain teams to secure node infrastructure and decentralized storage.
• Leadership
• Mentor junior engineers and vendors, promoting a culture of automation, reliability, and security .
• Lead incident response , root cause analysis, and postmortem reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• 810 years in DevOps, Systems, and Networking roles.
• Strong experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, IAM, GKE, Cloud Functions).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes , and Linux system administration.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, WAF).
• Hands-on experience with security hardening , IAM, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python ) for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Good to Have

• Exposure to Web3 infrastructure (Ethereum, Hyperledger, IPFS).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols , secure enclaves, or ZKPs.
• Government-grade compliance experience (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
