Job Description

Designation:Senior Devops Engineer

Location:Baner, Pune Hybrid

Reporting to:Chief Technical Architect

Principal Accountabilities

• Develop and deliver automation software for enhancing the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms.
• Design, architect, and implement self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring, and alerting platforms and tools.
• Automate software development, testing, and deployment processes through robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security standards such asSOC 2 Type 2 complianceandOWASP Top 10best practices into application and infrastructure development.
• Monitor and secure applications usingGCP Security Command Center,Cloud Armor,VPNs,ZTNs, andDMZ architectures.
• Maintain and secure APIs and reverse proxies usingApacheandNginx.

Work Dimensions

• Deploy and managecloud-based infrastructure services, particularly onAWSandGCP(hands-on experience in at least one is essential).
• UtilizeInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools likeTerraform,Ansible,Chef, orPuppetto automate provisioning and configuration.
• Build and managecontainerized applicationsusingDockerandKubernetes, and leverage services such asAWS FargateandGCP Cloud Run.
• Design and managehigh-availability and scalable cloud systems, integratingCloud DNSandsecurity configurationsfor global traffic handling.
• Introduce and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive innovation, particularly incommerce platforms.
• Implement observability and analytics using theELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)and maintain logs for audit and monitoring.
• ManageSQL and NoSQLdatabases includingPostgreSQL,MongoDB Atlas,Redis Cache, andMySQLfor scalable data architecture.
• Managemachine learning model hosting and maintenanceonGPU-based machines, ensuring availability and performance.
• Work withGitHub Actions,Jenkins,Git, andMavento maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manageWordPressenvironments, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Required Qualities

• 4 - 6 yearsof industry experience in IT or software engineering.

• Strong grasp ofweb programmingand developing secure, scalable web-based applications.
• Proficiency with languages such asPython, Bash, Core Java, Scala.
• Strong team collaboration skills with clear personal and professional growth goals.
• Open, humble, and ateam-first mindset.
• Bachelor's degree inIT, Engineering, or Computer Science(Graduate-level education preferred)
