Job Description
Overview
The Developer, EngageOne will work closely with both junior and senior team members across cross-functional teams to design and develop personalized customer communication solutions using the EngageOne platform. This includes the creation of dynamic documents such as statements, invoices, and marketing materials that are tailored to meet specific needs.The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of customer communication technologies, a creative and detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective communication designs. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather inputs and deliver high-quality outputs that enhance engagement and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Support senior team members in project delivery by applying technical expertise.
- Contribute effectively to project tasks and assist in resolving technical blockers.
- Analyse and document technical solutions in alignment with business requirements.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including development, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions.
- Adhere to compliance guardrails and ensure application compliance scores are optimized.
- Introduce innovative approaches to address business challenges and enhance solution effectiveness.
- Maintain a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Operational Management
- Design and deliver high-quality, quick-to-market IT solutions within an agile development environment.
- Troubleshoot application issues, resolve coding bugs, and address performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in design consultations with architects, technical analysts, and other IT team members.
- Gather, organize, and document technical information for IT stakeholders.
- Prepare and present design solutions along with supporting rationale, adhering to established internal documentation standards.
- Identify system dependencies and integration points and recommend solutions involving program functions and interfaces.
- Submit software components for code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices, standards, and enterprise architecture.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of multi-platform system support environments, tools, and procedures.
- Deliver services using agile methodologies and practices.
Governance & Risk
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support MUFG Group assurance programs focused on effective risk management and compliance practices.
- Assist in the development and refinement of team standards, methodologies, and processes to enhance both the quality and efficiency of development work.

Experience & Personal Attributes
Experience
- 2- 7 years of relevant experience in development using EngageOne.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Customer Communication Management (CCM) tools, particularly EngageOne, including EO Application Server, EO Digital Deliver, EO Process Executive, and EO Designer Suite (Version 6).
- Proven experience in designing and developing customer communication solutions using EngageOne or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with EngageOne tools such as EngageOne Designer, EngageOne Interactive, and EngageOne Compose.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, and visual design principles.
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Strong grasp of document composition, variable data printing, and personalized communication concepts.
