SENIOR DESIGNER (Corporate interior)

Pragathi Studio is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Designer with 5-6 years of professional experience in corporate interior design. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in workplace design, a deep understanding of the design process from concept to construction, and strong technical and creative skills. This role requires excellent communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Role Description

Responsibilities

Design Leadership: Own the end-to-end design process for assigned projectsfrom concept development and spatial planning to final styling.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Architecture, Art & Graphics, Construction, Real Estate,) and external consultants to deliver cohesive and timely design outcomes.

Creative Direction: Translate briefs into design strategies that balance creativity with functionality.

Mentorship & Oversight: Mentor junior designers and provide design guidance and reviews to maintain quality and consistency across projects.

Sourcing & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, sustainable design practices, and material innovations. Engage with vendors to discover new products and solutions.

Documentation & Drawings: Oversee and review drawing sets, material boards, presentation decks, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

5-6 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to commercial or workplace design

Proven experience in leading design projects from concept to execution

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and spatial planning

Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit (preferred)

Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight timelines

Strong leadership qualities and team mentorship experience.
