Are you a hands-on mechanical design expert passionate about building world-class packaging machinery?

We are a leading capital equipment manufacturer serving Indias largest dairy brands, and we are looking for a Senior Design Engineer / Design Manager to lead our engineering design function.

Role: Senior Design Engineer / Design Manager

Experience: 15+ Years (Mechanical Engineering mandatory)

Location: Mumbai

Industry: Packaging Machines / Dairy Filling Equipment

Salary: 12,00,000 per annum (Attractive package for the right candidate)

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end design of dairy filling machines, conveyors, sealing systems & automation equipment
• Create precise 3D models, layout drawings, assemblies & BOMs
• Work extensively on SolidWorks & Solid Edge
• Manage the complete design cycle concept prototype testing design freeze
• Guide a team of engineers and ensure high-quality design output
• Work closely with production, purchase, quality, and installation teams
• Implement value engineering, cost optimisation & design standardisation
• Engage with customers for technical discussions and requirement mapping

What Were Looking For

1. B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in machinery design
3. Strong expertise in SolidWorks & Solid Edge
4. Experience in packaging equipment OR filling machines (preferred)
5. Excellent understanding of sheet metal, fabrication, machined parts & food-grade SS materials
6. Ability to lead a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously
7. Strong problem-solving and engineering fundamentals
