Senior Design Manager BIM (Commercial & Residential Projects)

Qualification: B.Arch / M.Arch /B.Tech (Civil/Architecture)

Experience: 1015 Years (Minimum 5+ years leading BIM for large-scale projects)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager BIM & AutoCAD to lead design coordination and digital documentation for large-scale commercial and residential projects. The role requires strong command over BIM processes and AutoCAD-based documentation workflows to ensure seamless coordination, accuracy, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Management

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination (Architecture, Structure, MEP).
• Conduct clash detection and model reviews.
• Ensure LOD compliance and model integrity across project stages.
• Oversee drawing extraction from BIM models for IFC and tender submissions.

AutoCAD Oversight

• Supervise preparation and review of detailed working drawings.
• Ensure compliance with drafting standards and documentation protocols.
• Maintain accuracy, layering standards, and coordination across disciplines.
• Integrate AutoCAD workflows with BIM models where required.

Design & Delivery

• Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment of design documentation.
• Conduct technical reviews before issue for construction.
• Coordinate with consultants and site teams for drawing clarifications.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor BIM coordinators and CAD teams.
• Allocate resources and manage documentation schedules.
• Implement quality control measures across all deliverables.

Required Software Expertise

• Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP)
• Navisworks
• AutoCAD (Advanced level)
• Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 (Preferred)
