Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. (HWT) is a 100% subsidiary of SFC Environmental Technologies Ltd., engaged in technology, process design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, project execution, and operations & maintenance of integrated municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment plants. HWT has two operating reference plants, with multiple projects under execution across India.

Role Definition :

The Senior Design Engineer Process will be responsible for Basic & Detailed Process Engineering Design for Solid Waste and related Water & Wastewater Treatment Systems. The role includes developing process engineering documents, mass and energy balance, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, vendor interaction, ensuring design compliance and supporting project execution teams.

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in design for wastewater/chemical/MSW projects
• Strong Process Design/ Engineering knowledge and use of design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Environmental/Chemical Engineering
• M.E. / MTech(Environmental Engineering) is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Process design, equipment sizing, selection & preparation of datasheets.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, Mass/Energy Balance, Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, BOQs, Plant Layouts & Process/Mech GADs.
• Detailed design related to process calculations and selection of treatment equipment.
• Prepare RFCs, Technical Review of vendor drawings & support procurement decisions.
• Process Lead in HAZOP/ CHAZOP.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, design standards & compliance.
• Liaise with Mechanical, Civil, E&I Design teams, Procurement & Execution teams.
• Prepare O&M manuals, support commissioning and participate in PGTR activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors for drawing & design approvals
