Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. (HWT) is a 100% subsidiary of SFC Environmental Technologies Ltd., engaged in technology, process design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, project execution, and operations & maintenance of integrated municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment plants. HWT has two operating reference plants, with multiple projects under execution across India.

Role Definition :

The Senior Design Engineer Electrical will be responsible for electrical design, documentation, coordination, and on-site commissioning activities for wastewater and environmental engineering projects. The role will involve developing engineering documents, reviewing supplier drawings, supporting site execution, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in electrical & instrumentation engineering for wastewater / WtE / MSW / utilities / process industry projects
• Strong knowledge of Knowledge of HT panels, Transformer, DG, LT panels, instrument calibration & automation systems preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech Electrical Engineering
• M.E. / M.Tech Electrical Engineering (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering documents SLD, load calculations, cable schedules, instrument lists, datasheets & layouts.
• Review drawings & documentation related to electrical, instrumentation & automation from suppliers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants & internal teams for approvals.
• Support installation, inspection, FAT/SAT & commissioning activities at project sites across India.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues during execution.
• Maintain documentation including testing reports, commissioning records & handover packages.
