Senior Design Engineer - Bulk Material Handling Systems

We are looking for a Design Engineer with strong experience in bulk material handling systems , specifically in the design of idlers, belt conveyors, and feeders . The role involves end-to-end mechanical design, calculations, drawings, and technical support for project execution.

• Design and engineering of bulk material handling systems , including:
• Belt conveyors
• Idlers
• Feeders
• Perform design calculations for capacity, belt selection, power requirements, and structural components
• Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and manufacturing teams
• Review technical specifications, layouts, and customer requirements
• Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and commissioning stages
• Ensure designs comply with relevant IS / CEMA / DIN standards

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 38 years of experience in bulk material handling system design
• Strong knowledge of conveyor, idler, and feeder design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (SolidWorks / Inventor is an advantage)
• Good understanding of materials, load calculations, and manufacturing practices
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

• Experience in power plants, cement, steel, mining, or process industries
• Exposure to site coordination and vendor drawing review
