Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with expertise in aerospace primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and system support design. This role involves working on cutting-edge aerospace programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality design solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design aerospace structures and payloads considering tolerance stack-up, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
  • Create manufacturing drawings (detail, assembly, installation) and 3D MBD as per ASME standards.
  • Perform V4/Mylar Sheet to V5 conversion for both 3D and 2D/MBD.
  • Work on Relational and Parametric Modeling and interpret engineering drawings in 2D/MBD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage change requests and sustenance projects.
  • Utilize PLM tools (Enovia) and CAD automation for design optimization.
  • Experience in Boeing projects and CATIA Composite Part Design (CPD) is an advantage.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in aerospace design activities.
  • Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Sheetmetal, GSD, FTA).
  • Expertise in GD&T, ASME standards, and aircraft lifecycle.
  • Experience with Enovia PLM and CAD automation.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on Airbus or Boeing commercial programs.
  • Knowledge of metallic and composite aero structures.
  • Familiarity with CAD automation and CATIA CPD workbench.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
