Your job:

Lead architecture and solution design for our modern, secure, and scalable data platform and data-driven applications and define end-to-end use-case architectures that translate business goals into execution-ready data solutions
Optimize the data platform architecture to meet security, governance, compliance and cost optimization requirements
Design robust data architecture covering ingestion, processing, storage, serving, cataloging and lifecycle to maximize reliability, observability and business value
Collaborate with data engineers to validate and operationalize designs and review proof-of-concepts to ensure architectural compliance and production readiness
Act as an enabler by providing hands-on support, guidance and implementation advice for the data platform team
Mentor and coach the data platform team on architecture principles, data modelling and design trade offs; drive continuous improvement and mitigation of technical debt
Engage stakeholders and define measurable outcomes (SLAs, performance and cost targets) to ensure solutions deliver expected business value

Your qualification:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in data or solution architecture with enterprise platform leadership exposure
Proven expertise in architecting production-grade data platforms on AWS (3+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of data modelling, lakehouse patterns, streaming, event-driven design, and data mesh principles
Advanced SQL and Python skills with experience reviewing code for architectural alignment
Hands-on experience with data virtualization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and GitOps practices
