Senior Data Engineer Cybersecurity Data (8+ Years)

Were hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant data pipelines for high-volume cybersecurity data (logs, events, alerts, vulnerabilities).

Experience: 8-12years

Location: Pune (Hybrid)

What youll do:

Build and own scalable data pipelines & connector frameworks

Design and manage Apache Airflow DAGs (batch, incremental, event-driven)

Ingest data from leading security platforms (SIEM, EDR, VM, CSPM, CNAPP)

Ensure data quality, normalization, observability, and reliability

Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency

What were looking for:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

Proven experience building production-grade data pipelines at scale.

Deep expertise with Apache Airflow (DAG design, scheduling, monitoring, backfills).

Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory); Go is a plus.

Experience processing large volumes of structured and semi-structured data (JSON, logs, events). Solid understanding of distributed systems and data processing patterns.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.

Strongly preferred: prior experience with cybersecurity or observability data, including SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, CSPM, CNAPP, or SOC platforms.
