Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Administrator with hands-on experience in managing securing and optimizing enterprise Power BI environments.
 The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure reliable scalable and secure reporting and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage enterprisewide Power BI Service and Power BI Gateway
  
  
• Manage workspaces datasets dataflows reports and dashboards
  Implement rowlevel security RLS and workspace access control.
  
  
• Monitor and optimize Power BI performance refresh schedules query performance capacity planning.
  
  
• Set up and manage onpremises data gateway for hybrid connectivity.
  
  
• Automate and manage deployment pipelines for Power BI content.
  
  
• Manage Power BI tenant settings governance and compliance.
  
  
• Collaborate with business users data engineers and developers to optimize reporting solutions.
  
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI service datasets refresh failures and permissions.
  
  
• Maintain documentation and best practices for Power BI governance

Required Skills

• 3 to 4 years of handson Power BI Administration experience.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Service Power BI Desktop and Power BI Gateway.
  
  
• Good understanding of DAX and Power Query M for troubleshooting datasets.
  
  
• Experience in configuring and managing Power BI security RLS access control permissions.
  
  
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory integration for Power BI.
  
  
• Knowledge of SQL and data source integrations SQL Server Azure SQL Excel SharePoint etc.
  
  
• Experience with monitoring and capacity management in Power BI PremiumFabrics.
  
  
• Exposure to PowerShell scripting for automation of Power BI tasks preferred.
  
  
• Strong understanding of BI governance compliance and data security best practices.
  
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms AWS or Azure will be an added advantage

Certifications Preferred

• Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate Power BI
• Microsoft Certified Power Platform Administrator Associate
• Any other relevant certification in BIAnalytics will be a plus
