About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the data foundations powering a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on global planning and scheduling automation.

This role is critical in transforming manual planning processes into a fully integrated digital platform that enables demand forecasting, supply planning, scheduling (M+1), and movement tracking across complex business operations.

You will not only build solutions you will shape the data strategy and mentor engineers while acting as a subject matter expert across the organization.

What Youll Be Responsible For

• Designing and implementing end-to-end data engineering solutions
• Building scalable ELT pipelines and data foundations
• Leading data modeling and ingestion architecture
• Driving integration across enterprise data platforms
• Supporting change, incident, and problem management processes
• Presenting insights and architectural decisions to senior stakeholders
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to CoE/CoP initiatives
• Translating data strategy into high-impact IT solutions

Mandatory Technical Expertise (Strong Hands-On Required)

Minimum 810 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience in large enterprise environments, including cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure).

AWS and/or Azure (advanced proficiency required)

SAP ecosystem exposure

ELT architecture (expert level)

Advanced Data Modeling

Data Integration & Ingestion

Data Manipulation & Processing

GitHub / Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines

Experience with tools such as:

Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, SQL DB, Stream Analytics, Glue, Airflow, Kinesis, Redshift, SonarQube, PyTest

Nice to Have

• Scrum team leadership experience
• Exposure to BPC / Planning tools
• Experience working with external technical ecosystems
• Documentation frameworks (MKDocs)
