Senior Data Engineer

Our client is moving away from legacy Snowflake environments toward a cutting-edge Unified Spark Lakehouse architecture on AWS and Databricks. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Bangalore to own critical data assets and drive this modernization.

The Mission

In this role, you wont just be maintaining pipelinesyou will be a key architect in building a unified analytics foundation that connects Digital, Store, and Marketplace experiences on a global scale.

The Tech Stack

• Core: Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, Advanced SQL.
• Cloud: AWS (S3, Lambda, EMR).
• Orchestration & DevOps: Apache Airflow, CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker, Terraform.
• Streaming: Kafka, Kinesis, or Spark Streaming.

What Youll Do

• Design and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for massive enterprise workloads.
• Optimize data products for high-performance analytics and KPI accuracy.
• Build event-driven, real-time architectures to capture consumer insights.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to translate complex business needs into reliable data models.

Who You Are

• Experienced: 58 years in Data Engineering or Big Data.
• Expert: Deep hands-on mastery of Databricks and AWS .
• Certified: Ideally, you hold a Databricks (Associate/Professional) or AWS Data Analytics certification.
• Proven: You have experience in large-scale cloud migrations or platform modernization.
